Reflection

I unfortunately did not receive any feedback from my previous pitch, but I did, however, notice some things that I could work on. For example, I believe that I did not establish my credibility enough. I also had a screen in front of me with what I should say throughout my pitch. In my opinion, something that is important in a pitch, is to have it memorized. Having a presentation memorized shows professionalism  and dedication to the idea in hand. Lastly, I wanted to focus on more hand gestures and to seem more confident.

Things I changed

In my third elevator pitch, I changed a couple of things that did not sit right with me on my second pitch. Firstly, I changed my establishment of credibility. On my second pitch I mentioned I few things about myself but I didn’t think they were enough to make me a credible source to my audience. Secondly, I memorized my pitch, which I found relatively hard but doable. Last but not least, I tried to seem more confident for my audience and use more hand gestures. The one thing that I was not able to work on, was using words like ‘ugh’ and ‘like’ which is something I really want to work on in due time.

29A – Venture Concept No. 2

1)     Venture Concept 1 ( with changes) My idea is revolved around a new product-based idea. The idea is a carry-on bag that has an electrical scouter attached on it. I had the idea sitting at an airport with my family, after four connected flights we had to take and attempting to find our next terminal in the vast new airport of Istanbul. By looking at the model carry on luggage bags with manual scouters, I came up with the idea of an electrical scouter carry-on bag. My customer profile is individuals aging from 24-50, with a passion for traveling, or traveling as a requirement from their jobs. They could be single or have a family, traveling alone or with family. My consumers will also demand a certain degree of style and class and put a lot of emphasis on the “look” on my product. 11A – Idea Napkin No. 1

1)      I am a currently a student at the University of Florida. I am initially from Greece and lived there for a significant part of my life. I speak fluent Greek, English, and intermediate Spanish. My talents and skills include music production and disc jockeying, learning material in a fast manner, and speaking different languages. I also have extensive social skills and consider myself a “people person.” Furthermore, I believe that arriving to the United States from a different country, really helped me learn how to adapt to new environments and overcome obstacles that come with it.
